The first ship of the adventuring season, The Talisman of Zagy, has arrived in the harbour. Among the passengers:
- Unkill Goregargler, a bard of no little repute.
- Preston Lewis, killer for hire.
- A Halfling Wizard, traveling incognito.
- Crot McNaught, a surly beastman and self-styled town crier.
- Deezer, a half-orc-elf.
- Magnus Brule, a gentleman spy.
The Faithful Hound has arrived bearing a load of weapons for Ye Olde Shoppe. The captain reports sighting a pirate vessel off the coast of Cenotaph Isle, but the criminals did not give chase.
Among the passengers:
- Dogfail,Dogfael Whipscorn, a paladin.
An Expedition to the Valley of the Frog God hunted down and killed the outlaws Kinat & Rentor.
A second expedition departed for the Valley of the Frog God, to investigate a pit within the ruined temple.
The Governor-General is offering the following bounties:
- Good condition giant snake skins, 50gp each.
- The whereabouts of Emirikol, agent of WotC, 100gp.
- The location of the Gnomish Mines, variable depending on quality.
- The location of any pirate coves or secret moorages, 100gp.
In memoriam:
Let us all remember the dearly departed Lord Amalgam, the Governor General's predecessor, too soon did Cuthbert the Lawgiver take him from us, in his infinite wisdom and justice.
St. Cuthbert's justice has fallen on the outlaws Kinat & Rentor, killed in their swampy lair. Their heads will be mounted on pikes by the entrance to the Keep as a reminder to obey the laws of WotC.
